Billing Cycles

Members are billed monthly for their electric usage. You will receive your bill on the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd day of the month, depending on where you live in our service area. (Refer to the map on this page.) Future billing cycles may be added as Boone Electric grows.

Regular billing cycle - meters are read between the 9th and the 22nd day of the month. You are billed on the 1st of the month and your payment is due on the 10th.

Cycle 1 - meters are read between the 18th and the 28th; your bill is mailed on the 8th of the following month and it's due on the 17th.

Cycle 2 - meters are read between the 24th and the 4th of the following month. Your bill will be mailed on the 15th and it is due on the 24th.

Cycle 3 - meters are read between the 2nd and 10th; bills are mailed on the 22nd and due the 31st or 1st (depending on the length of the month).

It is possible to arrange for your utility bill to arrive at a more convenient time in the month if you have an automatic meter-reading device. This device must be reading your meter accurately and consistently to change billing cycles. In addition, your account must be paid to a zero balance. If you need additional information, please contact our office at 573-449-4181.
