Boone Electric offers various types of outdoor dusk-to-dawn lights to co-op members. The basic monthly service charge for the light includes installation on an existing pole, energy for the light and normal maintenance. Unusual repairs required as a result of vandalism or other physical damage may be charged to the member.

One-Time Fee

If a new pole has to be set in order for a dusk-to-dawn light to be installed, a one-time fee of $250 will be charged and you will be billed a monthly service fee. Additional poles are billed at $350 each.

Available types of dusk-to-dawn lights:

  • 100-watt equivalent LED light – $9.60*/mo.
  • 100-watt equivalent LED Coach light (subdivision) – $13.75*/mo.
  • 400-watt equivalent LED directional light – $18.50*/mo.

Five Feet Area

If the light will be fed with underground wire and the pole sits within five feet of a pad mount transformer, there will be no additional charge. Outside that 5-foot area, Boone Electric will charge $1.25 per foot to trench with a $150 minimum charge.
