SmartHub uses the same username and password that you previously used with eBill. If you did not previously use eBill, you can sign up for SmartHub by clicking here. Access the web version of SmartHub by signing in at the top of the page. Also, watch our video explaining how to register for SmartHub’s mobile app.

Our mobile app can be downloaded and installed on your compatible mobile phone or tablet device (see how by watching our video). The web version is internet accessible from your Mac or PC. Both the app and the web version give you secure access to maintain your account information, view your bills, see payment history, make payments on one or more accounts or set up recurring payments. They also allow you to monitor and manage your usage by use of graphics and usage markers. The app allows you to find and get directions to our office location using the map feature on your device. You can also report an outage on SmartHub.

With the web version you can register to receive notifications about your account, such as bill availability and past due dates. It also allows you to set usage markers (date range or point in time) to monitor the changes in usage based on events. The web version has a profile page available for you to maintain your personal information, password, security pass phrase and stored payment methods.

How to report an outage on SmartHub

Along with paying your bill and monitoring your energy usage, you can also use SmartHub to report an outage. When a major outage occurs, hundreds of people may be trying to call BEC at once. With a SmartHub account, you can report an outage using a computer, phone or tablet.

When reporting an outage, confirm your address. If you have more than one meter, please choose the “House” option. In the comments section, you can let us know if you saw or heard anything that could help identify the problem. Then check the outage map to see when a crew is assigned. A new convenience from Boone Electric Cooperative!

SmartHub’s app is available for Apple and Android devices or you can create an account online. Also, if you don’t want to create an account, click on SmartHub One-Time Bill Pay found under the My Account link on our website. See below for frequently asked questions about SmartHub.
